Arvind - Shirting Design Studio

Hello, I’m excited to present our interior design concept for a shirting studio within the textile industry. Our concept aims to create a space that reflects the essence of the textile industry while providing a comfortable and inspiring environment for designers and clients.

To begin with, we understand the importance of colour and texture in the textile industry. We have incorporated a variety of fabric swatches and samples to showcase the range of options available to the corridor. These swatches will be displayed on custom-designed shelving units, strategically arranged in a visually appealing manner.

Lighting plays a crucial role in our design, as it is essential for evaluating and assessing fabrics accurately. We prioritised ample natural light by incorporating large windows and strategically placed skylights. Additionally, we installed adjustable and task-focused lighting fixtures to ensure optimal visibility and accuracy when analyzing fabrics.

We also aim to create a comfortable and functional workspace for designers. Our design included spacious workstations, equipped with ergonomic furniture and ample storage solutions for the organization of fabric samples, pattern books, and design tools. The use of natural materials such as wood and textiles in the furniture created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

To add an element of creativity and inspiration, we incorporated artwork and installations that reflect the world of textiles. These pieces enhance the ambiance of the studio, creating an immersive experience for both designers and clients.

With careful attention to lighting, materials, and the incorporation of textile-centric elements, we aim to create an environment that enhances productivity, creativity, and client satisfaction.
